Summer Camp at Christ Church is a nonsectarian 6-week summer day program that accepts children aged 6-11 on a first come first served basis. Over the years our camp family has extended to the second and even third generation in some families in the Poughkeepsie neighborhood. This year we expect to accept 60 campers, and to hire 12 full time staff members over 18 years of age who will be CPR and First Aid certified.  The camp day runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Breakfast, lunch and snack are included. Campers and staff enjoy the use of four bright air-conditioned rooms downstairs in Christ Church. The urban park on the Christ Church block is their playground.

Summer Strings is a three-week day camp for string players in 3rd through 10th grades.  Students divide their time between learning fiddle tunes by ear and playing in string orchestra. Fiddle groups are small (6-11 students) and present their own arrangements in performance. Valley Crest offers fun filled summer camp programs for the novice and experienced equestrian alike. Got horse crazy kids? Young equestrians of any level will have a blast at Welwyn Stables Summer Riding Program in Rhinebeck, NY. Owner and instructor Kim Eidle and her experienced camp couselors will make sure that each camper’s experience is a positive one.   The children will learn basic proper care a horses.
